Torna: The Golden Country Review!

Image
Let's show 'em a thing or three! It's here, my review of the story expansion for Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna, the Golden Country. I've been wanting to do this for a while. I was originally gonna make this review as an update of my old Xenoblade Chronicles 2 review from when Google Plus was still around, but this game is different enough from the main game that it warrants its own review. HISTORY Since this is my first true look at a Xenoblade game, I'll briefly talk about it my history with it. I first heard of Xenoblade when I heard people discussing Shulk being in Smash 4. When Shulk was confirmed for Smash 4, that was when I got interested into Xenoblade. I attempted to buy it at GameStop, only to find out it was till full-priced over half-a-decade later after its release, which was bullshit. I heard about Xenoblade Chronicles X, waited patiently for its release and got it. I remember liking some things about it, but disliking the insane difficulty....

And my next game review is...

The next game I will review has been decided: I will be reviewing Torna: The Golden Country, the prequel story expansion of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It will be here on the 24 of May.

Mario Kart 8 Review!

Time to burn some rubber. Well, this is it, my review of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. After Persona 5, I wanted to slip into something more simple to tackle, so here we are. Hope you enjoy! HISTORY Regarding the Mario Kart series, I surprisingly haven't played a lot of them. The only ones I ever owned before this title were Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart 7, and the original Mario Kart 8 for the Wii U. I did play Mario Kart Wii a few times with friends, but never bought it despite owning a Wii. At the every least, each game I did have some fun with, though I remember having a hell of a time beating Mario Kart 7. I liked Mario kart 8, but I felt there were some things a bit lacking in it, especially in battle mode. Besides the anti-gravity feature, there was almost nothing new. When I heard the deluxe version was coming out for the switch, I sold my original Mario Kart 8 copy to get ready for the Deluxe version, but I wasn't able to actually get it un...

Postponed

Hello everyone. For my 1 or 2 people who read my blog I wanted to mention it last week, but due to a medical emergency I had last week, my review on Mario Kart 8 is postponed until this Friday. It will come, just be patient.

Persona 5 Review

Bet ya didn't see this one coming. After a very long time, I'm back to making reviews. I know I've been rather lazy, but now I'm making a new commitment. I will publish a new review for a game every 2 weeks on Fridays. Provided I get money and time, I may even do reviews on brand new video games. I am in college, so those reviews might take a while, but if I have no new games to review, then I'll simply provide a review on a game that I play and currently own. HISTORY Now, I don't have a lot of history with this other than me hearing about how good this game is. After getting into college and making friends with a fellow gamer, he suggested I play Persona 5. Problem is, at the time, I didn't even have a PS3. Never owned one. All I owned was my Xbox One, my worn 3DS, and my newest console, the Nintendo Switch, which was a present from my dad for graduating High School. I told him that I wanted to switch over to the PS4 anyways since the Xbox was , a...

Everything about it is bad except for the soundtrack. Happy April Fools!
